Canton First Friday: Dancing in the Street
Friday, May 7
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Outdoor First Fridays are back…with safety as our number one priority. Masks will be required to attend our event, indoors and outdoors. All vendors will be very spaced out. Handwashing and sanitizing stations will be scattered throughout the district. Be smart. Be safe!
Come indulge in fanciful visual stylings with Your Hostess of Plenty, Jo Westfall. Meet her merry band of rotten produce and tiny introverts while surrounded by twisted weavings and luscious treats at the Hub (336 6th St NW) 6-10pm on May 7. You mustn’t miss it. Oh the fecundity!
Boomdyada (332 4th St NW) Make-n-Take ~ Hanging succulent globes (glass or plastic for the kids!) $15 ea
Featured artist David King presents Time Travel, a collection of work inspired by fifty to sixty-year-old family movie reels which depict the slippery efforts of the mind’s eye to pause and preserve disintegrating memories. The Gallery will be open from 6-10pm where you can also enjoy Independent Film downstairs at The CUT cinema.
Fromage du Monde is a cut-to-order Cheese & Wine shop where you can dine in. We’ll be delighted to see you after such a long year and weather permitting, we’ll have some outside seating.
Grapes in a Glass (575 Market Ave. N) Dancing in the streets! Join us for one of our all new craft cocktails like a Peach Martini or a Watermelon Smash. Daniel Gray will amaze you with his talented vocals and guitar from 7-10. AND, join us from 10:30-1:00 for a Dance Party! Our DJ will be playing your favorite dance tunes, we will move some furniture and Dance In Grapes! Remember our music plays outside, so you can literally DANCE in the streets!
